Greetings, fellow code adventurers! Our team, comprised of pixelated plumbers and tech-savvy Toads, embarked on a quest inspired by the legendary Jan – a hero in the real world, facing a perilous challenge: hanging up a coat rack.

Picture this: Jan, armed with a drill and determination, staring blankly at a wall of uncertainty. The screws were like the King of the Koopas – intimidating and confusing. But fear not, for in his hour of need, Jan called upon the mighty ChatGPT, the wise sage of all things knowledge (read about Jan’s journey here).

And thus, our hackathon journey began – with Jan’s coat rack conundrum as our muse. We present to you the glorious solution: KoopaKonstruct Manager – an augmented reality adventure in coat rack crafting!

Level 1: Visual Assembly

Equip your Hololenses, brave DIY enthusiasts! With a tap of the Hololens power-up, witness the magic unfold. Point your gaze at the wall and the materials scattered about, and voila! Virtual arrows and guidance pop up, showing you the way to coat rack victory. No more guessing which screws fit – Hololens will highlight the perfect match, like discovering a hidden 1-Up mushroom!

Level 2: Wall Wizardry

Ever wished for a magical guide to help you conquer the wall? Look no further! KoopaKonstruct Manager introduces the Wall Wizardry feature. Simply focus on the wall area where your coat rack dreams await. Hololens will scan and analyze, offering a detailed list of materials needed. But here’s the real power-up – with a blink of your eye, a FinOps-friendly purchase order is conjured! It’s like collecting coins in the Mushroom Kingdom, only in the world of FinOps.

Bonus Round: Goomba-Proof DIY

Worried about facing the Goombas of DIY disasters? Fear not! KoopaKonstruct Manager includes a bonus round – a virtual DIY assistant, offering real-time tips and tricks. From drilling depths to screwing strategies, your personal guide ensures you stomp out any DIY Goombas that stand in your way!

Jan’s Wall Mounting Adventure

In the heart of May, with the sun shining brightly and the scent of spring in the air, Jan faced a challenge unlike any he had encountered before. Known among his friends as someone not particularly handy, Jan decided it was time to change that perception. Armed with determination and a wall-mounted tool rack, he embarked on a mission to prove his worth. 

Jan’s journey began with a cry for help to ChatGPT, a state-of-the-art AI he had heard could solve just about any problem. “I need to hang this up. Help!” he typed, his fingers trembling with a mix of excitement and nervousness. 

ChatGPT, ever so patient and knowledgeable, guided Jan through the process. It explained the importance of finding the right spot on the wall, marking the holes, drilling, and using the correct screws and wall plugs. Jan, absorbing every word, felt a surge of confidence. He followed each step, measuring the wall, finding the perfect height, and ensuring everything was level. 

But then came the drilling. Jan was unsure which drill bit to use. ChatGPT, like a wise mentor, instructed him on how to measure the wall plug and choose the appropriate drill bit. Jan, with a ruler in hand, measured meticulously and selected the right bit. He drilled the holes with precision, his heart racing with each turn of the drill. 

The moment of truth arrived. It was time to hammer in the wall plugs. Jan took a deep breath, reminded by ChatGPT of his capability and the importance of this task. “Many people will depend on this,” he whispered to himself. With a gentle tap, the plugs slid into place, perfect and snug. 

Attaching the tool rack to the wall was the final step. Jan aligned the screws, tightened them, and stood back to admire his work. The rack was straight, sturdy, and secure. He had done it! 

In that moment, Jan realized he had not just mounted a tool rack on a wall; he had overcome his self-doubt. He had proven to himself that with the right guidance, he could accomplish anything. The AI, ChatGPT, had been his guide, but the real success was his own. 

As he hung his tools on the rack, Jan smiled. He had transformed from a man who shied away from a challenge to one who embraced it. This was more than just a task completed; it was a personal victory, a testament to his newfound confidence and skills. 

And in the background, ChatGPT silently celebrated Jan’s triumph, its code humming softly in the digital ether, ready to assist another soul in need. 

Soria Moria Nightmare – Early Delivery

Oh no! Princess Peach has been captured by the evil Bowser in the Soria Moria castle! You need to help the people of the Holmenkollen mushroom kingdom save her by solving puzzles all around the houses of Voksenkollen to find a way to access the scary Soria Moria castle!

Our solution

The game will be implemented as a point and click adventure using Power Apps and eventually implementing more Power Platform technology to create the puzzles, even in. This first Minimum Viable Delivery is not quite that advanced or even hard yet.

Current state

The user enters the game into a map screen. 

Clicking on the Gardeners Hut enters the player into the gardeners playroom! 

Looking around in the room the player will eventually find the powerbutton to the computer 

This lets the player solve a puzzle on the computer 

In this early version of the story, it turned out that the gardener had hacked the cage that Bowser stupidly had connected to the internet, so the princess is freed!

1. Customer Service Portal
To create the ticket/case that should be resolved. Add live chat support using real time Communications. We will be using Socket.IO as technology.
2. The Kiosk App and Device(iPad) is powered by AI and based on the canvas app.
Business needs: Every solution requires some Marios(agents) to help the princess solve the problems.
So, our kiosk allows you to create Mario’s profile:
The avatar, skillset, and story will be generated based on your photo, and then Mario’s profile can participate in solving the cases for the princeses. (no personal data will be collected)

3. Model-driven app:
Provide the opportunity to match the agents and manage the case-solving process in a more advanced mode.

4. Clippy

We traveled to past and get back with Clippy. Using PCF controls we managed to implement Clippy in model driven app. Our original plan was to connect Clippy to AI and use it to help users. When the App is updated and the user logs in for the first time it will show a notification and highlight changed parts.
We were so impressed by Scott’s video of the copilot that we decided to add some familiar and modern features to the model-driven app. So we are glad to announce Clippy – your GPT-powered copilot. He will help you establish the most optimal process by providing insights based on AI. We found a very nice looking github library for implementing clippy with pcf.

Yellow alert! Banana detected!

Ever driven down a road, cruising at a stable regular pace, when your car suddenly starts to spin and you lose valuable time going to important places (question mark boxes). Chances are some pesky co-drivers are trying to sabotage your life by throwing banana peel in the road. Mama mia! as Mario himself would have put it.

Super mario – various games

You are not alone! But fear not, a solution to this coming to your preferred application store. The app will run in the background with your phone mounted in a custom 3d-printed stand easily placed in your car. There will be a live video feed running (the user will not need to look at it for obvious safety reasons) automatically detecting incoming bananas. alerting the driver with a friendy alert urging you to avoid the detected banana peel. Also alerts will be sent to the next of kin, conveying a message that your loved one have been in a banana accident.

The project will use a Android app to access camera and GPS functionalities. The app features a Tensorflow model that processes the video feed and labels bananas. Once a banana is detected, multiple events occur. First, the user is alerted through the app by a blinking light and the image of a peeled banana. This helps the user avoid the banana peel. Second, the GPS position is extracted and communicated to Dataverse. Dataverse stores the position of known bananas and they are displayed in a map that is available through Teams. Lastly, multiple alerts are made. In addition to the in-car alert, the system features a next-of-kin alert in case the user hits the banana peel. Moreover, Statens Vegvesen is alerted of the banana position so that it can be cleaned up. 

Introducing the Mario Detection System (M DS)!

The system will initially consist of the Mario-detecting Camera (MDC) and the Koopa Kompanion, a canvas app for Koopas in the field.

Once the MDC detects a Mario bro, it will send a notification to all Koopas so they can see the last recorded Mario bro location and destroy him with extreme prejudice.

We have adorned our camp (and ourselves) with various Mario paraphernelia. Including but not limited to baloons, hats, a table cover and moustaches.

Power Pages Customer Self-Service revolutionizes the creation of self-service portals, emphasizing incredible speed without sacrificing quality. It took less than 1 hour to create our portal thanks to pre-built templates. This rapid deployment ensures that companies can swiftly build portals for their customers

Our next steps involve customizing this customer service for our maintenance company by adding a Mario theme, more options for case creation, and even a live chat supported by AI—all for our princesses in need of a Mario’s help. 

Behind every great portal there’s a great admin center 

When you’ve gained momentum, seize the opportunity. We’ve developed the customer portal, but what about our Marios? We plan to leverage a model-driven app to establish an admin center for them. This platform will enable them to review their cases, with AI dynamically assigning Marios to cases by evaluating the case’s complexity and each Mario’s skill level. 

Even Mario needs a make up 

Are your case forms look too dull? Do you wish to spice things up a bit? We’ve got an AI-supported solution just for you. Each Mario has an AI-generated avatar and backstory. Our princesses can finally see a visual representation of their assigned Mario. 

Return of the Clippy 

Before ChatGPT, there was Clippy. While the community was excited about AI, Clippy was getting an upgrade. He returned stronger, faster, and better. By using PCF controls, we will integrate Clippy into our app, making him even more helpful than before. 

Hey there, digital adventurers! Ever found yourself lost in the endless expanse of the dataverse, wishing you had a trusty sidekick? Well, guess what? A ChatGPT-powered Clippy is just the hero you need!

Mushroom Baklava driven Development 

How will we accomplish all this in just three days? Our team needed some extra motivation. An unnamed member of our team brought some Turkish desserts for us. Whenever we earn a badge, we also get to savor a piece of delicious baklava. Other teams are welcome to try this delicacy; it’s first come, first served. 

Donkey Kong Koders – Early Delivery

We’re making a game using a mix of Power Platform and AI. It’s like a treasure hunt game with 2D graphics, and it will change and adapt based on user input preferences. We want each player to have a unique experience tailored to their joy.

Innovative Game Engine Development:

  • We’re using Power Apps to create a game engine for our treasure hunt.
  • The engine will make the game interesting by adding AI-generated content, making it more fun and dynamic.

AI-Powered Personalization:

  • We’re using AI (OpenAI) to customize the game for each player.
  • User get to select input to define the environment like:
    – Character –
    – Door –
    – Floor –
    – Wall –
    – Sound track –

C:

  • By using a guided selection process through chat, the user will experience a simple setup for the game.
  • The App will then connect to different AI services to generate a unique game world personalized for the player

This will generate a PROMT for different AI services that we will store to Dataverse. At the end of our dialog you will be presented with a link to the game. When opening the game, it will load all of your preferences and create your unique experience.

Eventually we will connect it with High Score for competition etc.
