Stop Mining Meetings, Start Crafting Delivery

As consultants and developers, we all know Agile and Scrum. In theory, it’s lightweight and efficient, offering short feedback loops, clear priorities, fast learning…. In practice, scrum gives us too many meetings with no clear results, half-baked user stories and tickets multiplying like mobs.

We spend hours talking about the work, then more hours translating those talks into features, user stories, tasks, and bugs. And still, the backlog just grows and feels harder to manage every sprint. After all the years as consultants, we have asked a simple question:

What if we could spend less time mining meetings, user stories and documentation, and more time crafting delivery the right way?

Broken down:

  • How do we ensure we don’t fall into technical debt throughout our sprints?
  • Can we more effectively create detailed and consistent user stories?
  • Can we automate the documentation process?
  • How do we capture all actionable work from meetings?
  • How do we ensure that the code that gets delivered still reflects the original user’s need and the best practices?

How do we solve this?

EVIDIently crafted will create an AI Scrum toolbox to help teams across the sprint lifecycle. The toolbox will contain several components:

  • A model driven app for project management, tightly integrated with MS Teams
  • An agent that creates user stories based on best practice, from natural language input in Teams
  • Automated documentation creation upon commit in DevOps
  • A canvas app for gamificated sprint planning and delivery process, to avoid technical debt

All of this will be integrated into the tools the team already use, ensuring that all team members and stakeholders have access to relevant data at all times.
